Thermal Liner Details

Kappler recommends thermal protection to be worn under chemical, FR and biohazard garments to provide added protection when dealing with hazardous materials or other substances at extreme temperatures. Exposure to both hot and cold burning can be dangerous but in different ways. Hot burning occurs when hot metals, scalding liquids, steam or flames come in contact with the skin and can cause immediate damage, leading to burns and potential scarring. Cold burning, or frostbite, occurs when skin and tissues freeze due to exposure to extreme cold, leading to tissue damage and potential long-term complications.

› Ideal for applications with potential for exposure to extreme temperatures, hot or cold.
› Coverall, Pants and Jacket styles offer flexibility for a wide range of protective overgarment types.
› Important: Thermal Liners offer no chemical protection, and are not intended to be used as fire protection, in open flame or intense heat, or as standalone chemical protection.
› Multi-use, single exposure and launderable up to 25 washes if not contaminated.
› Thermal Liners do not contain PFAS Chemistry. Read more about PFAS.
› Available in Dark Gray.
