Past Performance – Government Funded Innovation

  • Minuteman III — Integrated fall protection into a gas-tight garment designed for US Air Force missile silo program with potential exposure to dimethyl hydrazine and nitrogen tetroxide.
  • Chem/Bio Collective Protection — Manufactured, tested and provided chemical barrier fabric used in shelter liners for military Collective Protection Systems.
  • NASA Hood — Protective hood developed for International Space Station for protection against ammonia – project went from concept to flight in nine months.
  • Lunar Rover Parking Garage — Worked with NASA and Auburn University to design and construct a parking garage for the lunar rover, using a ballistic protective fabric.
  • Contaminated Human Remains Pouch (CHRP) — Teamed with Nanoscale Materials for US Army project managed out of Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Developed and produced remains pouches that incorporated reactive oxide nanoparticles to decontaminate remains during shipment and handling.
  • GATR Radome — Produced prototypes for portable satellite communications antenna for US Air Force program managed out of Wright Patterson AFB. Prototypes were deployed in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
  • Deep Dive Suit — US Navy project via Naval Surface Warfare Center, produced garment to protect against jet fuels and other hydrocarbon liquids during saturation dives.
  • Biosafety Level Four Suit (BSL4) — Designed and developed prototype garments through a multi-phase project in collaboration with AFFOA and USDA. Included multiple reviews from lab researchers that aided in refining the design and functionality.
  • Lunar Habitat — worked with NASA to create a conceptual prototype for a structure capable of operating under a lunar atmosphere, to allow additive manufacturing of concrete-like building materials using lunar regolith and a water-based binder.
