ProVent® Plus — Proven Protection For CDC Guidelines.
ProVent® Plus is a unique economically priced single-use garment that meets OSHA and CDC guidelines for biohazard exposure. The use-and-dispose distinction of ProVent Plus means emergency responders and healthcare workers faced with infected body fluids and other biohazards can achieve proven protection at a much lower cost than reusable garments. In addition to passing the ASTM F1671 blood and viral penetration tests, ProVent Plus is a microporous fabric that offers increased comfort due to its high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR). The coverall is part of a system of components with other protective equipment including respiratory, eye and face protection, examination gloves, boot/shoe covers and over aprons. ProVent Plus meets OSHA and CDC guidelines as part of such a protective system.
ProVent fabric does not contain PFAS Chemistry. Read more about PFAS.
ProVent® Plus Chemical Test Data
Total Chemicals Tested: 3
Sources for all chemical test data are independent laboratories. All tests were performed under laboratory conditions and not under actual use conditions. Tests were performed on material samples, not actual garments. All chemicals tested at 95% and 75° F unless otherwise specified.
All chemical test data shown is “permeation” based on ASTM F739, unless noted as “LIQUID PENETRATION” based on ASTM F903/F1671. Results displayed are in minutes. Select chemicals based on permeation when liquid and vapor protection is required. Select penetration when only liquid protection is required.
