DuraChem® 500 Details
Certified to NFPA 1990 (1994) Class 1 and Class 2, DuraChem 500 offers CBRN/Hazmat protection in a tactical style garment. In addition to the Chem-Bio requirements, which include warfare agent testing, the NFPA 1990 (1994) standard also includes general Hazmat response to expand the applications for DuraChem 500. Designed as a ‘multi-use, single-exposure’ garment, it is a smart, budget-friendly alternative to expensive reusables.
- Dual certification to NFPA 1990 (1994) for both Class 1 and Class 2.
- Provides gas-tight CBRN and general Hazmat protection in tactical-style, non-encapsulating suit.
- ‘Multi-use, single-exposure’ garment provides maximum protection at affordable price.
- Unique rear-entry design option facilitates safer doffing to eliminate cross-contamination concerns.
- Elastomeric face opening gasket fits securely around respirator, eliminates need for taping.
- Does not contain PFAS Chemistry. Read more about PFAS.
- Available in Tan and Navy fabric colors.
DuraChem® 500 Chemical Test Data
Total Chemicals Tested: 173
Sources for all chemical test data are independent laboratories. All tests were performed under laboratory conditions and not under actual use conditions. Tests were performed on material samples, not actual garments. All chemicals tested at 95% and 75° F unless otherwise specified.
All chemical test data shown is “permeation” based on ASTM F739, unless noted as “LIQUID PENETRATION” based on ASTM F903/F1671. Results displayed are in minutes. Select chemicals based on permeation when liquid and vapor protection is required. Select penetration when only liquid protection is required.
